Lisa is the granddaughter of W.E. McPherson who along with his sisters generously gifted “Invergowrie” to the Headmistresses’ Association (HMA) in 1933 for use as a Homecraft Hostel.

The HMA became the Association of Heads of Independent Girls’ Schools of Victoria and in 1992, with the sale of the Invergowrie property, The Invergowrie Foundation was established. 

Lisa began her involvement with the Foundation in 2011 as a member of the Grants Committee and joined the Council in 2014.
