Congratulations Ms Wendy Lewis OAM
Medal of the Order of Australia Award
Congratulations to the Chair of the Invergowrie Foundation, Ms Wendy Lewis on receiving an Order of Australia (OAM) as part of the 2021 Australia Day honours list for services to the not-for-profit sector and to education. A very well-deserved award and recognition and acknowledgement of Wendy’s commitment and contribution to the community.
Wendy has been a valued member of the Invergowrie Foundation for over 25 years since joining the Investment and Finance Committee in 1996 and has been a member of Council since 2006. She was Treasurer of the Foundation from 2007 to 2015 and has held the position of Chair since 2015. Her expertise over many areas and dedication to advancing the education of girls and women in Victoria is much appreciated.
Wendy is Executive Officer of the Collier Charitable Fund, a philanthropic fund supporting a wide variety of organisations, the Chair of the Board of the Knox School, an independent co-educational school and Director of Social Traders and Queen’s College, The University of Melbourne.
