Retired in 2020 after 14.5 years as Principal of Loreto College Ballarat, with 42 years as an educator across all three sectors. Her formal leadership roles during her career included those of Year Level Coordinator, Faculty Leader (Mathematics), Deputy Principal and Principal.

Judith’s speciality study in teaching was Mathematics, with a particular focus on the engaging of girls in the enjoyment of, achievement in, and understanding the possibilities presented through the study of Mathematics. As an educator of girls and young women, a special interest of hers is strategies and approaches to support each in the development of a strong sense of, and confidence in, self.

Judith was an active member of local and national education networks, including committees organising national and international education conferences. Judith joined the Board of Siena College in 2021. In March 2021 she was honoured by the Zonta Club of Ballarat as one of ‘Ballarat’s Great Women 2021’.
